1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Altius Ventures LLP, operating under the trade name “Terra Pure”, handles personal data collected through terrapure.co.in and related channels (email, WhatsApp, in-person events). 2. Personal data we collect

Information you provide when you complete the buyer dossier form, contact form, sample request, newsletter signup or place an order — including name, designation, company, country of operation, business email, WhatsApp / phone, SKUs of interest, target export markets, indicative order volume, billing and delivery address.

Information collected automatically — device data, session data (pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth), approximate location derived from IP, referral source, cookie identifiers.

3. Lawful basis and purposes

We process personal data under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), and where applicable, the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR. Purposes include: sending the requested buyer dossier; processing orders; statutory record-keeping for GST, Customs, Income Tax and APEDA; marketing communications (with consent); site analytics; fraud prevention.

4. Who we share data with

  • Payment service providers and our banking partner — only for transaction details required to process payment.
  • Logistics, freight-forwarding, cold-chain and customs-clearing partners — only for shipping data (consignee, HS code, lot).
  • Professional advisors (legal counsel, chartered accountant, auditor) under a duty of confidence.
  • Analytics and CRM processors (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot, Mailchimp/MailerLite, Meta Pixel) under data-processing agreements.
  • Regulatory authorities — where required by law (APEDA, Spices Board, DGFT, GST, Customs, FSSAI as applicable).

We do not sell personal data. We do not run targeted advertising that requires sharing personal identifiers with ad networks.

5. International transfers

Because Terra Pure is an export-first business, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside India. For transfers of EU/UK/EEA residents’ data outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

6. Cookies

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Disabled by default for EU/UK visitors until consent.
  • Marketing — Meta Pixel. Disabled by default unless you opt in.

7. How long we keep data

  • Buyer-dossier and B2B enquiry records — up to 24 months from last interaction, then anonymised.
  • Customer transaction records — 7 financial years to meet GST / Customs / Income Tax / APEDA requirements.
  • Marketing subscribers — until unsubscribe; suppression record retained thereafter.
  • Website analytics — aggregate / pseudonymised data up to 26 months in GA4 (default).

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may: access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy; request correction or erasure; withdraw consent at any time; object to direct marketing; lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, or your local supervisory authority in the EU/UK.

To exercise any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer at trade@terrapure.shop with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We aim to respond within 30 days.

9. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards including SSL encryption in transit, access controls, processor due-diligence and regular review. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we will notify affected users and relevant authorities of any breach in line with our legal obligations.

10. Children

Our site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of the page and, for material changes, give prominent notice on the site.
